The Friday Five: Good Stuff for Your Weekend

Welcome to The Friday Five: Good Stuff for Your Weekend. In this post I will do a quick round up of five books, links, and resources for homeschooling families.

So, let's get to the good stuff!

1.  4 Questions that will simplify your homeschool this fall - I think Melissa Camara Wilkins' advice is spot on in this post for Simple Homeschool, especially the part about asking yourself what you need to let go of.

2. Are you new to homeschooling? Head over to A Common Life's YouTube channel where she recently shared a great video with 5 Tips for New Homeschoolers.

3. It will take some saving of our homeschool budget pennies, but I absolutely LOVE this wooden perpetual calendar I spied on Pinterest the other day. It's available from the etsy shop Sensory Play and it looks beautiful.

4. These Watercolour Leaf Bookmarks from Red Ted Art are on the Fleck family's must do list this autumn. Aren't they lovely?

5. A Magical Homeschool: 52 Wonderful Ways to Use Nature Studies in Every Season to Teach Science, Math, Art, and More is available for Kindle for $2.99 (price current as of Thursday evening, then I'm writing this).

Another kindle book I've picked up to read this weekend is Alison May's The Autumn House, which is part of her seasonal homemaking series.

And there you have it, dear readers, five awesome things for your weekend. Have a great one!
